Prerequisites
We have put together a list of prerequisites that are recommended for this workflow. This will be different depending on your usage, but you can use it for reference.
A Deals object that includes:
Won
status attribute for your won deals
How to use this template
Once opened, you will see a series of connecting blocks.
The Attribute Updated block is the first step to this workflow. This block will be activated every time you update the status attribute of your deals in your Deals object. To make sure this workflow runs properly, we will need to select the Deals object and the Deal Stage attribute used to track a deal’s progress.
The Filter block decides which deals get passed to the next block. This is where you set the criteria of what counts as a won deal. In this instance, our requirement is for the deal attribute be moved to
Won
, so only the qualified deals will trigger the next block. However, you can add more filters if you need to.The Summarize Record block is where AI comes in. Like using ChatGPT, you simply put a prompt to generate your response. Since we are focusing on summarizing closed-won deals, we would tell AI what attributes to outline. For example, the Owner of the deal, name, value, and next steps.
The Post Actions to Slack Channel block not only sends the summarized response, but it also allows you to set action buttons for next steps. To make sure this is set up correctly, make sure to input the summary generated by AI into the message box, name your actions, and link your actions to the following blocks. In this instance, we are linking the actions to the MixMax sequences, one for high value deals and the other for low value deals. An example input would be:
Message: {Summary} Action 1: (Add to MixMax) high value sequence Action 2: (Add to MixMax) low value sequence Next step Action 1: Add to Sequence (high value) Action 2: Add to Sequence (low value)
The Add to Sequence blocks are the two actions we set in the previous step, which will be presented as buttons in the Slack message. Make sure your MixMax is linked with Attio and the correct sequences are chosen for the action points.
